Inspired by a mix of a studio mallet and a watch band adjusting mallet, the handy mallet, coined the November Mallet, is a perfect and proportional mix of function and elegance ready for everyday use.
Features one hard end for striking nails or cracking nuts and a soft end for gently tapping things into place without marring the surface.
Designed in Brooklyn by Chen Chen & Kai Williams, it is named after a beloved professor, Dan November, who taught at Pratt Institute. Dan assigned students to make tools that they could use during their time at Pratt and beyond. The mallet Chen made in his class inspired the November design and is still a part of the school's studio tool kit today.
